Saturday night Partay night!

So I haven't blogged since last week sometime! I posted one this morning about orange coats but here's a little something from the weekend!

It was my brother's 26th Birthday and we randomly decided to hit the city and go to ivy for a classic night out with all of my cousins. It was quite an eventful and fun night but I wanted to share with you this photo of me and my cousin in our dresses..

We enjoyed our night so much I didn't get home till the next morning.. Literally 6am! My god it was fun though!

I ended my weekend on Sunday by hitting the movies and grabbing some lunch with my best friend :) And I also got photographed and ended up being in the newspaper. The question was why I like to live in the Illawarra...

how to wear orange...

Good morning :) the weather isn't particularly nice today... I wish I could show you my outfit of what I'm wearing today but I can't find anyone to take a photo of it :(


To brighten up our days just that little bit I have found this picture of a lovely woman wearing bright orange! I love bright colours and was always a bit hazy on how to wear orange but I quite like the way she has pieced this outfit together.


She has worn a gorgeous dress by the colour of a beige/nude colour and topped it off with a minty green coloured cropped jacket and then the gorgeous orange coat. Her bag and accessories have given the outfit the final touches that it needed :) I love it! Here's for a bit of colour inspiration... Don't be afraid to go all out ;)

Getaway looks

So thanks to netaporter they have made a selection of some hot holiday getaway destinations which I would love to getaway to for a while... Or maybe just forever hehe.

Along with these destinations they have picked some outfits, and may I say they are quite wonderful... I love them!

tribal inspirations

As you can probably tell from the fashion of today... There has been a lot of inspiration on our clothing, accessories etc. by the tribal cultures. I have this neck piece on today which I love and it has some tribal influences in it. Neck piece was purchased from Mimco..


I think it always makes my outfit a little more pretty :)

ITs such a beautiful morning here in Sydney today! I am absolutely glad that its not gloomy and cold like yesterday and we get to see a bit of sunshine yay :) + its Friday YAY! I'm so glad its the weekend, finally I can kick off my heels relax and chill...


Last weekend I had my cousins 18th Birthday... I have an awesome picture of me and my cousins at her little cocktail party. And I thought I love all of our outfits and what better way to show them off than in this picture..

Looks from Fashion Week

So recently over the past weeks has been fashion week all over the world... Here are a few looks and colours which I actually quite liked..

Below is a burnt orange colour we see across 3 different designers. I quite like the different shades they have used. Its not a bright orange where you look like a traffic light or a traffic cone on the street...

Here is a royal blue colour used across 3 designers... Now I love blue and always have! I always struggle though to find the right blue which suits me and my style. Its either too bright or not the shade that I want. However these blues are beautiful...

Now lets come to the purple which is such a beautiful colour its deep and is known as an eggplant colour. I don't like eggplant too much myself but when you think about that deep colour on it, its pretty amazing! My nails are actually the eggplant colour at the moment :)

Notice how the neck line across 3 designers is a low cut V shape accompanied by a belt like structure across the waist which divides up the outfit. I quite like this, it gives an edgy look and its lady like. It extenuates the upper body and I'm loving the slick back hair do. 

Sass and Bide

So Good morning all :) Today is such a gloomy day and it makes me depressed however I have put together an outfit and have used Sass and Bide as my prime inspiration :P 

I wanted to put together something simple with black and whites but I also wanted to add a bit of edge so I have Black skinny leg jeans, White singlet top, Black neck piece (which makes an awesome statement piece for this outfit), blue heels, and some gorgeous rings :)

To make it perfect I think make up should be kept clean and simple and hair tied back in a slick pony tail :)

Bright Colours :)

I am loving this colour blocking on this beautiful Jil Stuart Dress. I love the bright bolours as they remind of spring and summer. I think a lot of women need to get out their comfort zones of wearing the usual blacks and whites and jump into some colour. Not only does it look amazing, it makes you feel amazing and brightens up your day just a little more :)


It could make a great dress for work as well...

I am also adoring this Lyn Devon dress which a very nice orange colour and can suit anyone. The slits in the side of the dress aren't too big which make you want to say what the...? and are in the perfect spot, so they add the extra edge to the dress. It's pretty and chic and the colour blows me away. I'm loving the brights :)

Celine Spring Accessories 2012

Well Celine is just so chic... 

I love the bags and the accessories are just a perfect complement for the bags. I especially love these cuffs. I think they would give that extra umph for any outift, maybe it be skinny leg black jeans with a plain white t-shirt or simply a maxi dress these can be your go-to acessories..

Shopping on Pitt

So yesterday I made a decision to go shopping in the city after work :)

OFcourse I couldn't leave without buying something for myself. I went to YSL to purchase the new glossy stain lipstick however, the colour in the sample which they gave me, they don't have :( Apparently they don't make that for Australia :( So sad because that colour was absolutely gorgeous!

So instead, I walked around bought my brother birthday present a Ralph Lauren Polo and sweater and also purchased myself the new Chanel Coco Rouge shine lipstick. The colour is gorgeous and I absolutely love it! I'm wearing it today and it feels amazing :)

I then went to Christian Louboutin ( I didn't purchase anything ) But I am so tempted to. The shoe that I have wanted for a while is still there... During the sale they had sold out but looks like it is back in stock. Sigh.. If only they were some what cheaper in Australia :P

So I have been browsing and so far these items have striked me eyes....


This Jil Sander Lamb paislet-print woven skirt is absolutely to die for! I love the hand sewn skirt as it looks beautiful and you can tell that it is a keeper in your spring/summer wardrobe. You can dress it up and down simply with a plain white shirt or a pair of fabulous wedges...

I am also loving this gorgeous red dress by La Petite S***** it looks like an amazing fit on the model and also the colour would absolutely suit my style and skin hehe :)

These wedges... O M G... took my breath away I really want to buy these!! They look amazing and the colour is gorgeous! If only I had a job in the fashion industry I would be 100% certain that my whole pay cheque would be spent on all of these luxurious items without a doubt :) hehe...

So who wouldn't want summer to return... I definitely hope the weather stay sunny all week and weekend :) Happy Tuesday everyone :)

Marc by Marc Jacobs Spring 2012 Lookbook

I absolutely adore Marc by Marc Jacobs! He designs an amazing line and I especially have a weak spot for his bags! 


Marc has released his Spring 2012 lookbook on Shopbop.com where I regularly shop for Marc Jacobs bags hehe :)


With some of his new creations I have created an epic look for spring or summer depending on where you are in the world! His jump suit is amazing and I love the way he has used the bright pink and black. I think it gives an edgy yet girly look and the accessories and bags are just a nice new fresh face for Marc by Marc Jacobs as Spring is supposed be ;P

Gloomy Day in Paradise

It's such a gloomy day here in Sydney today... A bit of rain and a bit of sunshine if we're lucky.. 


I guess sitting in the best office with the best view at one of my client's kind of makes me feel a little better about the day :) 


Started my morning at Single Origin once again and then just had a beautiful espresso at Mecca.. If you happen to be in Sydney make sure you check these café's out, they will not disappoint!

Marie Claire 200th edition

Hi all,

So today I was grocery shopping and at the check out I noticed the new Marie Claire magazine which was the 200th issue! It had such a pretty cover and you could pick between the glammed up golden version or the girlie pink version!

I picked the gold one as i love gold hehe always makes me feel so good and feels good hehe :)I love how Jackie (editor) has planned the layout of this issue.. I absolutely love how she has dedicated some pages for her travels around the world with a picture diary of the fashion shows and many after parties she attended. Some of her documented photos include some amazing pictures of the models back stage in their hotel rooms or letting loose at a after party. I love the Marie Claire I think it's one of my favourite magazines hehe and I think I will be subscribing to it hehe.

And I particularly love how some of the crew at Marie Claire made over each other hehe especially the new look for Jackie!

The joys of working in the city are days like these when I can enjoy a cup of beautiful coffee and a gorgeous macaron not because it only looks beautiful but because it tastes amazing as well! Hehe the macaron is from north Sydney

Wednesday&apos;s are for ivy pool bar time... ;)

Hi hi
So I had the lucky chance to go on a very long and relaxing lunch break on Wednesday with a bunch of girls from work to ivy pool bar on George street in Sydney...
Mind you it's gorgeous there and has such a perfect atmosphere for a lazy afternoon.
And with their 15 pizza and glass of wine deal it makes it even better!! Sipping cocktails by the pool all afternoon...
Who wouldn't want that life??

Fri night is wedding night

Hi all,
It's been a while I know!! But I went to a wedding tonight and even though it is late I wanted to update my blog ha!
Last weeks wedding I had my hair done in a nice bun high up on my head.
Well for tonight I thought I'd give it a shot a bit of a messier one which was a lot bigger.

Lazy Sunday

Hey hey!!

This weekend for me was a very lazy weekend indeed:) I went to the movies and watched this means war which was pretty good I loved the mix of love and action!!

Today (which is Sunday) I lazed around at home, had a late breakfast and hit the beach. Even though the beach was quite busy I had a very nice refreshing swim and went a for a nice long stroll along the beach with a friend and ended my day with a nice cold freshly squeezed juice while watching the sunset! Was beautiful!
I wore my Jennifer Hawkins swimwear and bright yellow shorts :) with my straw hat hehe... I hope you all had a lovely weekend like I did!

Wedding Day :)

So hope you all have had a great weekend like I did :) I had one of my child hood friend's wedding's on Saturday night and it was so amazing! She looked amazing and so beautiful! I have so many photos but have chosen a handful to post up on here..

Above is the bride and her sister. Her sister's dress by Cheri Hill and the wedding dress is from Sposabella a local shop for wedding dresses.

 The flowers are from a local flower shop and they are Colombian Roses. They are beautiful!!!

This is me at the brides house writing my name under her shoe. It is in Turkish tradition that all the bride's single friends write their names under the shoe and whose ever name is left un-rubbed will be the next to get married :)
